mit 80’000 franken werden ihre vergnügen form! (with 80’000 francs your pleasures take on forms!), 2004.
Installation in: Design? Kunst?, Kunsthaus Langenthal. Curated by Marianne Burki and Katharina Nyffenegger.

The almost full-page questionnaire of the same name, published in the german-language daily newspaper Berner Zeitung BZ, offered the possibility to the readers, to present their preferences, desires and aversions. Under titles such as "I love", "I want", "I choose", "I prefer", "I hate", "I visit a show", "I buy" and "I claim" several values have been offered to choose. Some space has been kept empty for alternative propositions. For example the chapter "I hate" offered checkbox-options like plush dogs, bad jokes, the smell of the city, plastic plants, stressed people, e-mails. The evaluation results of the answers have been formulated as piecharts. The resulting installation consisted of decorative patterns on the walls with suitable captions and pie-chart seats so that visitors' bottoms could soak up the findings. At the exhibition visitors also saw two books with blue covers, containing all the questionnaires that had been filled out and returned.

Installation: questionnaire published late summer in the daily newspaper Berner Zeitung (questions on tastes, desires, repulsions; category headings: I love, I want, I prefer, I hate, I visit an exhibition, I buy, I demand), wallpaper (questionnaire statistics), 2 poufs, 2 books (with the completed questionnaires).
