A neon trilogy installed on the margins of an idyllic private garden questions the causes and consequences of the vicious cycle of migration. In reference to a Refugium (the title of the Biennial), the neon sign is JUSTICE justice? raises questions of just treatment. It stands for a requirement that is always dependent on a context. Even written in small letters, justice is a big word. HARDWARE is inscribed in the landscape, highlighted as reductive as a consumable resource. members only questions the role of us as hosts, who view our role as a privilege or a burden.
